Welcome
Bikers Angels has been created after the tragic death of my husband Michael in November 2005; it does not offer professional help but just for you to share your thoughts and emotions after losing someone through motorcycle accident. Use the forum for a friendly chat, advice or just to let off steam. The site also offer a free online memorial. Michael was killed on his motorbike on the first of November 2005, a truck pulled out on him, the driver never saw Mike, he died at the scene, he was 29 years old. Michael left me with 2 beautiful children who have given me the courage to carry on and rebuild my life for me and for them. With their strength and the help, guidance and encouragement of my close family and friends who have listened faultlessly to me and offered advice when needed, I feel that I am on the right track to rebuild my life and come to terms with my loss whilst still loving and cherishing the memories I have of my beautiful, caring husband. Just being able to pick up the phone and know someone at the other end is there to listen has helped me enormously and is credit to my recovery through what can only be described as a truly devastating and life changing time. Over the last 15 months I have spoken to mothers, fathers, brothers, sons and daughters of people who have lost their lives tragically, without warning or due to illnesses and our common goal is to learn to live with the loss rather than resenting it and feeling bitter. The death of a loved one is a time when even your family and friends may be unable to understand how you are feeling and at best you may not feel like you can divulge your innermost feelings with them for fear of upsetting them too. I hope that Bikers Angels can help you at a time when you are feeling vulnerable, to get things off your chest, air your thoughts or to just have an informal chat with someone experiencing the same as you. This site is dedicated to Michael, my husband, best friend and soulmate who has made me strong enough to cope! Thank you for visiting
